One thing I would do is spread out the comedy more evenly, I feel like the most glaring problem of the script was that it tried to be funny in moments that most certainly weren’t meant to be funny, so spreading them out and tweaking them to generally be a bit smarter would help the movie breathe a lot more

I will make it mostly similar to games (I think legend trilogy's story doesn't need any changes). Eventually, I will do something with plot holes, extend the moment when Ignitus saves dragon egg from what Spyro will hatch later and make the fact that Cynder was during some kind of mind-control more obvious to the watchers.

This idea wouldn't work if the release date was still set in 2010, but maybe we could still keep the beginning part of Spyro growing up and having to go to school, but have it more integral to the film with fans and new viewers actually caring about the school segment by making it Skylanders Academy, and the friends Spyro meets there would serve as a parallel to the friends he makes after he graduates during his quest to save the Dragonlands and Cynder from herself, with everyone meeting up in the end or something. I think a Skylanders Academy montage would work way better than a baby montage like in the original. If the board meetings from the first few drafts of the film really demanded 4 montages I think it was, it would be better to extend the length of the film and to have the montages reflect different parts of Spyro's life in the movie, but have it relate to the film while serving as a reference to other noteworthy titles in the franchise, but without making it too in your face.

Probably adjust the pacing so that everything fits into a specific runtime without feeling rushed. Streamline certain plot elements or outright remove certain parts to make room for stuff that is more important for the story.

Bring back Spyro’s trash talking when people get on his bad side. Or maybe have Cynder & Spyro fight 20 minutes into the movie, Spyro discovered that he has more power than just breathing fire. Cynder is defeated, turning back into her old self, except in this version, Cynder chooses to make friends with Spyro wanting to start off fresh in a new direction, free from Malifor’s influence.

I guess one thing I could suggest is Spyro isn't wholly excluded by dragonfly kind and they're more than prepared to help him fit on as much as he can but there is that self insecurity of feeling different? I don't know, just seems a little less mean spirited than the whole gigantazoid stuff that original draft had

Maybe including more threats in Malefor's army? There weren't much outside of cynder and gaul. Crazy what if, in the legends continuity we can have ripto and other classic era villains as generals under cynder's command

Well would say try having the Dragon Guardiabs get captured instead of killed off, as they’re used for Malefor’s awakening, have the apes instead of the monsters, maybe add in Elora, Hunter &/or Ripto (or Red) as to show classic representation, have Spyro be cocky like in the classic but involve into his Legend persona after his fight with Cynder as to show character development and have the story have a more 2 to 3 hour runtime. Maybe have in other elements like the Cheeth village, going through other areas, then up to the castle or mountain for the climax.

Travis the Dragon
I wanted to make a video on how I’d fix the canceled legend of Spyro movie script. And tbh I have no idea. The most I got is keeping it mostly accurate to A New Beginning but changing the plot a little bit so it doesn’t feel like it’s copying the game. And maybe giving Sparx some jokes that are actually clever and feel natural. And also make Spyro know he’s a dragon from the start but still be accepted in the dragonfly family.
That’s all I got sadly. Does anyone else have any ideas?
