For the last three years, I've been asking what type of FPV you were using at this point in the year.

It provides a really useful indicator on how many pilots are still analogue only and how the HD FPV products are becoming a wider part of the hobby. Now, after another year of and even more digital HD FPV offerings, it will be interesting to see how the split has changed again.

So, what FPV type are you flying now?

@jbcl350

I hated analog to the point of not flying FPV any more. Bought a Walksnail VRX for my Fatshark HD02’s and it was amazing! Then bought the Fatshark Dominator HD’s. Very happy! Going from analog to digital HD was like needing glasses your entire life, and then getting glasses!

I'll stay on analog until Open IPC is fully developed

50/50. I have 3 DJI quads (Neo, O4 Mobula and a conversion to a 7") but the rest is still analog. My main 5" has the best analog that I have ever used so will be the last to go digital. I especially love the Mob O4 - crazy that i can bomb around in a whoop yet have an HD picture and 4K recording ...

Only this week I purchased my first 04 air pro and N3, always flew 5.8 with the OG skyzone (sky01). Now my feed is filled with how dji will be band so I'm glad I got it now.

Rocking the newbie analog starter kit. Pocket, air65/75...probably pickup boxpros later this year.

I tend to use Analogue to maiden my fpv wings as (if) I don't set up Inav Autolaunch's Launch Throttle correctly..and she stalls,torque rolls into the ground...then a lot cheaper to replace ready for the "Re- Maiden ".🤫

Only reason I'm flying digital now is thanks to the Runcam WiFi link and RubyFPV. It was actually incredibly cheap to get into digital using them, and they perform quite well.

This year I converted my fixed wing to digital. I switched to a Mobula8+Vista for indoors a couple of years ago, and had digital on my 5" quad a few years before that.

G3's and Boxpro+ currently. Retired Vr02's and my ev800d's.

Analog only. Digital is still often to heavy and always much too expensive…

Sometimes, it just feels good to break out one the old girls, dust off the Skyzone's, and rip in glorious 480p. I've got 10 years worth of accrued analog builds - the survivors, but the builds based on Walksnail video hardware are fun, and more challenging than analog, with heat dissipation and Walksnail's PT gimbals and built-in head tracking - I'm talking fixed wing, of course.

Waiting for the day I can splurge on Digital

I enjoy digital but my analog 1.2 with antenna tracker gives far greater range

Have 4 walksnail quads that get very little use. Would rather fly my analog fleet, picture is not as good but less hassle and lower, more consistent latency makes me happier.

@stereospeaker

Analogue for 65mm. Dji on everything else.

If I want a nice camera I just use a camera drone, a DJI mini 3 with smart remote (no using my phone). When I want to train and experience piloting an aircraft I have an Arris desert falcon caddix analog and 3500mw vtx, Goggles are fat shark scout.

I flew Walksnail , but didn't like the goggles. They were just too small for my face and couldn't see the entire screen. I sold them and went back to analog with the SkyZone Sky04X.

Whoops will stay analogue for a bit longer.
