He sounds much more stable here, but there's still a lot of handwaiving. My issues are primarily the fact that you call your audience "sheep", you insist on a heirarchy where you're clearly at the top of the creative totem pole, knocking down anyone who doesn't share your identical interests or career avenues, and just generally grifting. The fact that you bumped up your consult price from $100 to $400 is a ridiculous markup considering there's zero script coverage, and now you're asking for $50,000 per call, all because you're in debt from this LA exodus. Just sounds like you have a bruised ego from your first major rejection

Iâve been following you for an amount of time now and with the great âLA Breakdown/Superman Crashoutâ I, much like everyone else, really thought we were witnessing the systematic dissolution of Lucasâ insightful and introspective nature. After watching all the way through this episode though, I can in fact determine that Lucas is still there. Heâs more awake than ever, but heâs just seeing things from a perspective we donât see. Granted, that doesnât make him all-knowing, it just means his growing feelings surrounding the tired and broken state of the industry and art he loves has finally bubbled to the surface. Frankly, I have no idea why thatâs come out in the form of an out of left field 90s inspired teacher rap about books, but I for one am going to trust the process. Keep cooking, Mr. Scriptman/LOCAL/HartwellâŚ?

You are like the only person who thinks almost identically to me in pretty much every regard so Iâm interested to see what youâd think of death note. Its only 37 episodes and its so good and I think youâll really enjoy the character arcs and consistency and lack of meta involvement. Edit: donât read the replies to this cuz this asshole loves spoilers i guess
