It’s more fun to see the side characters get more screen time along with Gumball and Darwin, Hopefully we will get another 20 episode batch that would feature them in the newer episodes.

The Butts is the episode that has stuck in my mind the most and I wish it wasn't 😂 Absolutely NOT saying it's bad because I did enjoy it but yeah, what a weird episode in an already weird show. I've only watched 6 or 7 episodes in the new season so far

What pissed me off so much about this show when they released season 7 is that barbara's painting wasnt true...and there wasnt continuity with the last episode from season 6

If Gumball was gonna continue, one of my biggest hopes for any new projects would be that they delved more into many of the iconic side characters personal lives and lore. We saw them start doing a lot of that in the later years of the show and it kept things interesting. And because it's Gumball they did it and titled the episode 'The Butts'.
