Option #4: I watch them against my will & pray to God for an app setting to turn shorts off.

I do both, sometimes it only takes one from the home page for me to get hooked on watching a bunch of them

I like tech shorts that are like reviews for like, more niche products or like, things that don't warrant full length content.

I watch & make shorts from time to time, but greatly prefer long form content, both as a viewer & content creator. Short form videos are too short to be a good source of info, & I think it’s more about entertainment than anything.

I would pay extra money on top of YouTube premium to disable shorts

Youtube should give us an option to disable shorts; It's very annoying to look up a video on a topic then get bombarded with shorts

I watch them as a time killer, but genuinely dislike watching shorts from channels I subscribe to

I watch shorts, but I make daily minecraft shorts for my channel. I didn't before I started making content.

I run Firefox with Ublock that has a script/filter to disable shorts entirely. It's great as I don't care for shorts and if I did I would use TikTok for them.

Honestly, I hate them. They cause damage to the content creator and that push them to do more shorts (for the views) instead of making normal videos. That's why I try to avoid the shorts. I prefer the long content (10 to 15 minutes), take a look at Unbox Therapy, in the last couple of months they have stopped making normal videos and their priority are the shorts, so I no longer watch Unbox Therapy. Is up to the content creator, money or quality (from my perspective).
