Everyone thinks mostly women are demisexual just because we want someone we can trust, god forbid.

They need to find ways to pull people into their cult no matter what. It's actually insane.

Totally agree with you !!! Demisexual makes no sense ! Almost everybody needs to get to know a person before they have intimate action with them! (Talking about intimate and vulnerable stuff, get to know their values and communication style etc)

It's not about holding out as a conscious decision, it's about literally not feeling desire until you're close. Like, never or almost never just being like, "ooh, boobies" in passing. That's what's odd.

Ain't that the sexuality made by someone on the internet to explain why their roleplaying character could sleep with so many people?

To be fair, the definition is talking about sexual attraction -> feelings, not sexual behaviour, so not sure I'd relate it to modesty and chastity. I agree that it is silly though, and especially for women just seems ... normal? Doesn't feel like a word that was needed, or related to asexuality (which I also somewhat question as a concept, at least the way it is currently used).

Someone recently told me that I was "demisexual". I looked it up. Okay, so now modesty and chastity are considered abnormal. If you aren't a whore, you must be asexual. What are we teaching this generation? Casual sex is now the norm, if you don't put out until you're in a secure committed relationship, you're the weird one. What a world.
