Can’t really comorehend doing anything beyond 8-12 reps, I rather do a harder version or just go for weighted pushups

Pushups vary from person to person I think. A 350lb dude who can do 20 pushups is crazy

At 90 kg bodyweight, 50+ isn't average you know 😅 I'm still stuck between 30 and 40 tho 🤷 Used to to 80+ easily when I was a teenager 15 years ago, but we don't stay this young and light forever 😮

I did once 50 push ups but mostly i do like 40 which isnt that much but on another hand i can do very clean 18-24 pull ups and even more chin ups
