1968: President LBJ pulls out, VP (Humphrey) takes over, gets hounded re: war (Dump the Hump; Ho Ho Ho Chi Minh etc.)... Republican (Nixon) gives vague promises about ending war... wins
2024: President Biden pulls out, VP (Harris) takes over, gets hounded re: war (Genocide Joe; Holocaust Harris etc.)... Republican (Trump) gives vague promises about ending war... wins
