Unfunny
Hello everybody, Unfunny here. Basically if you see the account I have had for over a year, #unfunnyrealaccountguys, has been beamed by a person impersonating to be a discord moderator. I just woke up this morning to find that a friend who I actually TRUSTED sent me a red herring that his account was being targeted by some person who was trying to steal his account and that they had sent fake allegations to discord staff about all his friends, which also included me. He said that he was in a hurry and needed my help, so as a good friend I obliged. He told me to contact this staff member who literally asked for my latest 10 transactions as I was apparently accused of “fraud” and he needed to verify it even though on multiple occasions he said that legally he isn’t allowed to ask me about personal information. This resulted in me consulting my parents about this, and it turned out to be a big scam. But before that, he already had my username and password, before I knew it everything I had was gone. I worked so hard on all the things on that account, I have some really personal things like passwords to other accounts too on it. I can’t even show evidence due to the fact that my account is gone. This has all taken a huge toll on me in 3 hours of nonstop talking and stress, I literally started having doubts about my future and all the terrible decisions I’ve ever made. One of the singular apps that I’m active own I now cannot enter, and I have just been absolutely hitting my head against the concrete wall in my room with barely anybody to comfort me. In case anybody is wondering, this “friend” is called Joe Stevenloard. I’ll try to explain more in a community post once I feel better.
