As an antitheist I really want to reject the idea of “secular spirituality”. Just as there is no god, there is no such thing as spirits or spirituality. We aren’t trying to replace Christianity with crystal healing and astrology, we’re trying to promote reason and skepticism. At least I am.

Rudolph Steiner, the founder of Anthroposophie, shows a good path to “secular spirituality”, yet the best path is to give up the belief in any “supernatural” or “paranormal” and stick to pure reason, logics, and objectivity with great philosophers like Karl Jaspers, Friedrich Nietzsche, Immanuel Kant, Aristoteles, Platon.

I voted for "How to practice secular spirituality" because, even with all of the people deconverting, the essential human desires for connection and transcendence remain. At present, there is very little outside of mainstream religious organizations that can help meet those needs. If this doesn't change, some will go back to those religions, and others will fall into a kind of nihilism.

Talk about human existence before language, and how language and the printing press made it possible to tell everyone that they were doing it wrong, whatever IT may be. Then the rich and influential used language to control and indoctrinate. Prior to language, Wars were fought when bad people stole from good people. Also, with language came politics. 😢

Despite the gradual but steady decline of religious influence in American lives over the last few decades, the US still more religious than any other OSCE country, especially those in western Europe. Why is that? Why do Americans need religion? Aren't there sociopolitical, economic as well as cultural reasons for this? What makes Americans different from other societies? (All cultures are different. That's neither good nor bad.)

You've spent an incredible amount of time and effort on Christianity specifically, Zionism in Christianity, and I sincerely thank you for the great research and perspective you have brought to that extremely important topic. Now I would implore you to focus that same energy and intelligent no BS mind of yours on the other "Abrahamic Religions". Because, one of those is the original root of Christianity, and has it's even OLDER origins of "zionistic" beliefs that are equally shocking, if not more so!! Including how that has been hijacked amd morphed into secret occult ritualistic beliefs that persist in secret to this day, secretly underlying everything in ways most don't even realize. And then, you have to go the other way to the religion that leaped off of Christianity in the Middle East, and is equally messed up in a whole host of ways. And thus, all three of those come together to endlessly create chaos and conflict, and do so in the exact same overall end game purpose.... Of "End Time Prophecy" worship. Or even, as you have pointed out, to purposely MAKE IT HAPPEN!! And all three religions are doing the exact same thing, but each to their own unique goals and spin on it!! Which then with that realization, really makes one start to think about the bigger overall hidden agenda to the creation of all of those religions!!(???)

Secular Spirituality is an oxymoron. The correct term is non-practicing Christian, Jew, Muslim and Atheists, Agnostics, Navigating deconstructing religion is highly important because religion is NOT the cause of World problems as Atheists, Agnostics and non-religious people wrongly think. It's the wrong understanding of Religion and cult mentality that's the problem. How religion shapes society is also important. Religion is supposed to make people compassionate, merciful, just and all other good attributes. Discussing all three is okay as they're interconnected.

Young people want you to see the upper two. But you learn to deconstruct religion by actually reading the bloody book! And everybody knows how religion shapes society, I don't know how people not know. Therefore I think people are just looking for a place to be a hater. Which we've had enough of over the last couple decades. If anything the public needs more thorough, honest and detailed education on the origins of life so that not only do they know how we came to be (which I would consider a form of "secular spirituality" because it's so wonderous) but also how to easily make it clear to the religious what their origins are. The aim not to debunk or humiliate but to enlighten and show someone that they've been unfortunately fooled. This is the tertiary aims in my life anyways when it comes wanting to debate religious friends and family in the future.

I’m so bored with these religion billboards, and i’m not alone in this .. the time & space for attendance just isn’t there any more .. the stalking old folks homes & properties, the utilizing gov’t immigrants programs, that stuff sure but the affiliations that make real life deals aka the mormons are thriving because of their discriminate membership scheme. Hopefully you will get entirely bored of it too some day sooner rather than later & move on to some thing with life in the topic.
