The fact this is even necessary is sad. Not having a robust social welfare system. In my country if you lose your home or income, the government is obligated to give you a new home and enough money to survive. The American system of having to make gofundmes to pay for basic expenses like housing and medical treatments is absolutely insane. Why do you keep voting for everyone to be miserable except the top 1% earning all the money? It makes no sense
