Any video with music, advertising, or sudden noises I will avoid for sleeping.

I really like the tone of your voice for sleep space but I've been startled a couple times by the music in the end 😂

If I wanted to sleep to music, I'd sleep to music. What I want is a voice to keep the brain from overthinking for long enough to fall asleep.

A few of you have mentioned the end credits startling you... We don't add credits to the end of Sleep Space videos! For reference, the videos we have designed for sleep all have "Astrum Sleep Space" in the video title. There shouldn't be anything there to jolt you out of sleep. However many of the Sleep Space videos do have ambient music carrying on once the narration has ended, so that the video doesn't end at 12 or 18 minutes when the episode is over, and allows you more time to fall asleep. Is the music-only section waking you up? I think you might be referring to the compilations - we do add end credits to these. The compilation videos weren't designed for sleep, but you all seem to be sleeping to them 😂 Just trying to get to the bottom of this

I actually do fall sleep to these kinds of videos but the reason I don’t usually select the Astrum Sleep is because the documentary content is only a portion of the video while the rest is just noise/music. I don’t like that it just goes to noise, I want the documentary to keep going as I fall asleep. I hope that makes sense!

I almost exclusively listen to this channel of yours when I go to bed but I usually only chose videos that are 45 minutes or more when I’m going to sleep

Half asleep to an interesting calm voice and then a screeching add jolts me awake

Yeah the music is what wakes me up I realize your not talking that’s why those compilation videos are the best it’s hours of content instead of a 10min video with 20 mins of music it’s not the music we’re listening for brother ❤

I second what a lot of people are already saying. No music, maybe clip the intros out during the middle of the video, the one at the beginning is fine. I personally can't fall asleep to just music so I'd prefer the whole video to be talking. I don't mind the supercuts as well as I know the content from the main channel so I'm not too engaged to fall asleep. No need to change the voiceover though, your voice is 👌

Every night, I fall asleep with you quietly describing the universe. I have to download your video to allow me to jump back to your content every night. Otherwise, it's lost to the algorithm and other contents.

The format and voice are fine for me. My only complaint is YouTube’s terrible commercials. Too many but more importantly too loud.

Compilations all the way. The long music tracks wakes me up seems to be what most people are saying

Tbh, the thing that works for me is intrinsic knowledge sharing. I feel comforted knowing that I am learning about something both very important and simultaneously not relevant to the stresses of everyday life. When you go the extra mile to "sell it" for the purposes of sleep, it loses that magic and my head focuses on the way the video is TRYING to lull me to sleep (which I then fight) vs the informational videos (which I try to stay awake as long as possible, consequently letting me go to sleep). Hopefully, this helps. It's the truth, and I do love your videos AND appreciate the efforts. ❤

Astrum Extra
We've noticed that fewer of you are watching Astrum Sleep Space! From the comments, it seems you prefer to fall asleep to our compilation videos instead.
To make the content work for you, what would you want to see on Astrum Sleep Space?
