I see these BYD all over Southeast Asia as I’m traveling. I wonder if they will allow Tesla full self driving software to operate on them. If so, think of the pure profits for Tesla. There are millions of these BYD cars on the road.

BYD Sealion 7 in the wild. This is the closest thing BYD has to ModelY.
It has a larger battery but less efficient, so less range
Slower Max charge rate at 150 kW. Most non tesla chargers in Thailand are much slower than that, and can be unreliable.
Slightly less interior space
Much less expensive
Very good car if you rarely drive more than 200 miles or 300 km in a day
