I'm still holding out for Miiverse to return from the shadows, obliterating all the other competition instantly.

My brain says Twitter but my heart says " I can't fucking wait for that cage match "

I've no idea. Twitter is definitely in trouble as far as its viability with the recent decisions it has made. No idea about Threads, curious about it though. Bluesky could do better if it could let more on and had a stronger vetting system. I think Mastodon could get slightly more popular if more prominent users got on and gave a user friendly 101 of how to use it and do stuff. But I think that place will largely stay quiet and niche w/o it being a dominant force and space like Twitter. I think that role might b for someone else...who that is I haven't a clue.

Ive never heard of Threads or Bluesky but they gotta be better than using Twitter

Anything is better than Twitter, to be honest. People on Twitter are some of the most disrespectful and rudest individuals I've ever seen. I just hope they don't spill over into Threads, because I'm willing to give Threads a try. Bluesky is a no though.

This is the first time I’ve heard of Threads and Bluesky, but if they’re anything like Twitter, I’ll be sure to stay far away.

A lot of people are returning to tumblr so that’s where I’m putting my money

I'm still waiting for that Vine remake (from some of the people how made Vine or something) to blow up. It was kinda fun when I had space for it on my 1gb phone.

Twitter is dying Threads being facebook owned twitter is already super unappealing in its concept Bluesky being an exclusive club where instead of banning hate speech simply lets you toggle it off (letting them still post it and stuff that’s related to that while anyone including them get to decide what qualifies as such) is a gigantic red flag Tumblr will surpass all of them simply by being way more appealing despite being super broken and its userbase (justifiably) ignoring half the features

All the stuff with Twitter has been super weird because I don't have an account. It did make me learn about the others though, and they look kinda neat. They have a mild amount of appeal compared to Twitter
