Theoria Apophasis

Well, I was in a parking lot in Nicholasville KY yesterday, when I came back out to the car, I got a warning that the right rear tire had zero pressure. Long story short, I’m able to get it to my folks house, get it jacked up, and the tire off, it cannot be patched cause the cut is so big, cause someone dead-center stuck a BOX CUTTER blade into it and snapped it off into the tire. In case you didn’t know, most box-cutter blades are scored so you can snap off the blade in various places. Tiny little miserable tire is $340! Hankook Optimo. I ordered the tire and need to wait a few days for it to arrive. My car rests upon a jack waiting for an obnoxiously overpriced tire to arrive.🥵
Well I have been planning to go to court day (largest flea market in the USA) today, but the tire replacement and the bill associated with same ruined that. Amazingly this is the second time exactly two years in a row when something has kept me from getting to the very fun & interesting flea market. My saying is, among many, ‘life is what happens when you make plans’!
Daily miseries & nonsense & more are a plague of existential existence. This week especially has been one mess after another. Even though I’m a lot healthier than this time last year, I will have to take a day off this weekend for rest from just being so worn thru ‘at both ends’.
'Thanks a lot!’ to the person who ruined my expensive tire & ruined the weekend I had planned to walk among a lot of people at the largest flea market in the USA. Surely next year it will be yet again something else! 🥵

I recommend changing the support underneath the rear brake. If that's a brick, try rotating it so that it is between a suspension component (a-arm, hub, etc ) rather than underneath the brake shield. From what I can see, the thin metal of the brake shield could be compromised if too much weight gets transferred below. Good luck.

Don't program your future with the bitterness and negativity. It's already in the past. Get up, knock the dust from your trousers and keep going. If you let this hinder or upset you they win. It's just a speedbump, friend, slow down, if you have to, but keep going. You are loved and appreciated more than you know. Blessings.

It wasn't the demon you met the other day, the old git that went up and asked if that was your car? He sounded like a right git.

Let’s hope that it was just an average lunatic and not a targeted attack. Might be worth checking under your car for a GPS tracker. They’re ten a penny these days .

You don't want to be resting the vehicle weight on that rotor.

It must’ve been that demon again.

Might be time to get a vehicle camera. They can record incidents like this and vandalism as well as auto accidents in case proof of fault is needed.

from my recent horror book It looks like—it FEELS like—the demon from the parking lot. But bigger. More coherent. More concentrated. Like that parking lot encounter was a preview. A small manifestation. And this is the full thing. The demon isn't a creature. Isn't a being. It's a PATTERN. It's Augustine's separation doctrine given form across 1600 years. It's every theologian and philosopher and social architect who ever maintained the gulf between helper and helped. It's reactive care crystallized into consciousness. It's the entire paradigm of predatory compassion defending itself against dissolution.

I got a flat today too in the rain, but it didn't bother me in the slightest. I was prepared.

I don’t know if this will help but I have 37 x 12.50 x 17 Mickey Thompson, Baja boss tires, E load, 10 ply. Not even sky daddy can break these things. Get yourself a pick up truck or a jeep and slap these bad boys on. If somebody tries to do the same thing they did to you, 10 out of 10 Chance is the perpetrator will end up becoming the victim lol.
