One thing is guaranteed, the cops almost always make a bad situation worse. Your chances of survival with only the intruders involved is way better than when the cops get involved. If you can eliminate the problem, then do so. If you need to run away, fine. If need need to pray or shit your pants, also fine. Calling the cops to deal with the problem should be your last option.

I wish I could defend my household but I’m a convicted felon in Georgia and can’t own a weapon. Even though I’ve been free over 6 years with no arrests no felonies no evictions. And the crime i committed was deemed violent even though my role in the felony was only to steal money and merchandise which i admit to. But I never touched a person and I never had a weapon nor threatened a person I’m deemed violent and should never be able to properly protect myself and my home and family in this home. It’s stressful. I’ll have to grab a knife if there’s an intruder and hope the intruder doesn’t have a gun, good luck for me huh smh
