The fungus is interesting. The one tree looks like a beaver was chewing on it, possibly. Looks like a nice hike. β€

Great hike 3.62 miles 24 flights climbed.
We went up both Lookout Rock and Wolf Hill Northbridge/Uxbridge Massachusetts and Rice City Pond. Very overcast and cold day. We got out before the rain.
Sadly there is so much Graffiti on Lookout Rock. Trails are in good condition except for some down trees which you can easily climb over.
Nice peaceful hike. Found a bunch of Druon quercusflocci Fuzzy Oak Galls, Trembling Crust Fungus, Black Knot on Choke Cherry and Beech Erineum Mite Galls.
Great to see a few Golden Crown Kinglets. Lots of Trees chewed by Beavers.
Happy to see FOS Needle Ice. I think itβs so interesting.
