Idk, he was just hospitalized for illnesses brought on from decades of mold exopsure so his future seems more The Last of Us than anything.

What do you mean by “future”? What do you mean by “way”?

Honestly I really don’t think the grifters have any concept of “the future”. They just say or do whatever makes them feel good in the moment, and absolutely don’t give a shit what happens to the world after they’re no longer in it.

I'm disappointed that the trailers didn't have a spooky version of the Jill Scott song

Such a great movie. It's been living rent free in my head for weeks, and I proudly fought some weird homophobes on the queerness of a character and how when you're discovering yourself ( them being teens/young men) a lot of the time it's just being friends and realizing how you enjoy the others presence. What they might mean to you. People will forever sleep on this story and I just gobbled it down. I felt benevolent envy and am proud for it

It's such a strangely hopeful and nihilistic movie at the same time.

Such a great novel. All of the ones he wrote as Bachman was gold. Check out "running man" and "rage" specifically. It'll give you chills.

While watching it, it almost felt like the filmmakers watched F.D.’s “edgelord” series of videos and wanted to make the anti-edgelord film. The group almost immediately ostracizes the most toxic, homophobic member of the group. And even the main white protagonist, as likable and understandable as he is, he’s falling into the same “The only thing this nation needs is one good white man to stand up to it, and I can be that man,” belief. Now the ending is complicated, but not in a, “They didn’t fully think it through way” like, for a hilarious example, Gladiator 2.

This was the first time in a long time I genuinely needed a drink after seeing a movie.

I remember a Tiktokker crying because she had to cut off her Maga parents. They're dead to her. Her parents aren't the ones who raised her, They're different people now. I felt so sorry for her :(
