Country life, having a range at home is great. No one screeching about rapid fire or hammered pairs....

I like shooting, but i dislike range people. I much rather go out to a field and shoot targets at 300 yards.

Normal working-class people like myself simply can't afford it.

Lately I only go once in a while to make sure my rifles are zeroed and run maybe 200 rounds through my pistols to make sure I still have the fundamentals down. I mostly do dry fire practice and mag reload prqctice at home. Being the sole supporter for a wife and toddler, I just cant afford the cost of ammo and range tickets like I used to. And I'd rather not burn through the 50k rounds of ammo that I stockpiled over 10 years. I think thats gonna come in hand ly real soon some day.

I like my local range and used to go at least every other week but they raised the prices and now I only go occasionally.

I personally practice as much as I can afford to and still build up my ammo. I am lucky enough to have some property where I can practice at home.

2-3 times per week for an hour at a time, then 2-3 times in the gym on non range days. Just part of my morning routine.

I haven't been to the range since 2022 just too busy with work and kids and all the activities in between. Maybe in the next two weeks I'll make it a priority to get back it's been a long time

The working class is on a struggle bus. Forfeiting lots of taxes so others can live for free and so the government can spend it or pocket it. So just saving what ammos we have left in case we need them in the near future.

I want more range time, but I need to balance it between family, jobs, property maintenance, vehicle maintenance, etc... budget is tight and time is even tighter.

I used to go every week and spend a solid 3-4 hours each time. Then work changed, I became a lot busier, and now I haven't been in a year and a half. I miss it.

My local ranges are mostly indoors, and ran by fudds. Not necessarily a complete turn off, but they all seem to treat safety as either optional, or they treat you like a mental patient. Where you’re not even allowed to correct your own malfunctions. Mostly my issues with going to the range stem from time/money. My splurges for the month are paying more off on my debt.

Used to be 3-4 times a week! But now i go fishing that much because it's cheaper by thousands of dollars. I hit the range 2-4 times a month now and do mostly dryfire

I try to go at least once a week. Only issue is that I live in a major city, where outdoor ranges are pretty uncommon. Indoor ranges are better than no range I suppose.
