Are we pretending it's not unprocessed childhood emotions? That's a clear regression. Remember when we knew the aunt who collected all the ceramic rabbits to the point she had multiple cabinets and every surface was covered with them, was unwell? But we didn't say anything because they aren't harming anyone? Well now we know it's not beneficial to ones mental health. Regressing into a 'safe time' in one's psyche where a simpler time exists and 'adulting' is a pass time. There's hobbies, and there's trying to forever relive parts of your childhood.

Of course we do. B3cause life in general sucks - few jobs, stagnate wages, crumbling societal values and morals, everything is more expensive than it should, AI replacing us all. Maybe its the one thing keeping some of these people stable sland sane enough to get theough the day where they have to deal with sick head boomers for bosses and in senior roles, who refuse to retire despite being 70, and wont allow amy of the mext generations to take over or garner wealth.
