The Koerner Office Podcast - Full Episodes

I got a $15k quote for a home theatre system that is 100% ChatGPT generated.

That makes me think "Why do I even need this guy?"

He's replacing himself! I'm just gonna prompt it myself and save $10k.

There's a right & a wrong way to leverage AI as a business owner.

How do you know he simply didn’t ask ChatGPT to organize his ideas better? I’m failing to see why leveraging ChatGPT to create a quote dismisses the fact that equipment and installation are what you’re paying for in the end…

Hey Chris! Either way, it sounds like you are going to have a sweet home theater setup! Just curious, was that person quoting 15k including the install/labor, or just for one of the equipment packages? Also, did you check to see how much markup they were adding for the equipment? Also, you could probably take a photo of the room you want the home theater in and ask ChatGPT to re-imagine your room with the equipment from the quote to see what it would all look like. Good luck!

Bro that makes no sense. You are paying him to do this so you don't have to do it. So you can focus on other things. His work - your leverage. You can do it yourself, but that was always clear, with ChatGPT or not. But if you hire someone, you want to get rid of the work, basically.

I think its just bad taste with the leaving in all the clear Chat GPT styling, sows doubt

My colleague does this and I don't get it. It gets things wrong and causes complications... and it's lazy and Unprofessional. I use gpt to assist me in quoting customers but always tailor my email responses

I don’t see the problem if the service you’re paying him for is not trying to pass off AI output as original work. (He probably also used a computer to send the quote instead of a pigeon.)
