Knowing you all I’m sure there will be a lot of this directed to the non believers and critics and answering their questions. Like often I hear criticism on is the trinity and biblical authority. God bless you all. This is going to be very fruitful.

Here’s a deep one that exercises my mind, good luck :) The Holy spirit. First, If Pentecost is when believers in Christ first received the Holy Spirit that would dwell and remain in them, what’s with John 20:22 when Jesus breathed on them and said “receive the Holy Spirit” before He departed , if originally He said He must leave for “the Helper” (the Holy Spirt) to come [at pentecost]. Second, if a believer must be regenerated to be made alive and have true faith in the Christ or Messiah, and that act is not done by themselves but by the work of God through the spirit, how could there be truly saved believers in the Old Testament that had the ability to have true Faith and obey Gods word in faith if they did not yet have the spirit permanently dwell in them? ( I obviously believe OT believers had the spirit, David even says take not your spirit from me in psalm 51, I just don’t understand the connections of texts and implications) Thirdly, we see that in certain instances of people in the OT, specifically people who lead Israel in some way, God gives them His spirit to complete their mission or task and that the spirit will at times depart from them after it is complete. There is the case with king Saul, who probably was not a true believer, having the Holy Spirit in Him and then it leave him. How can this be if He was not one of Gods elect? Is there different types of “Gods spirit or Holy Spirit”? For example one that enables people to do Gods will no matter what and one that dwells in believers, both OT and NT, and another that serves as both that remains in us as believers in Christ after Pentecost and also enables us to build Christs church and conform to the image of His son? So perhaps the spirit that Jesus breathes on them before he departs is an example of the mission completing spirit to keep them together till Pentecost seeing how the first time Jesus was separated from them during his trial and crucifixion, they all scattered. Just looking for some clarity and insight, Hopefully this makes sense…(:

Here’s another sort of deep question but also a common question Christian’s are asked or wonder themselves… How did sin enter the world through one man(Adam) if Lucifer was cast down to the earth because sin started with him? Also if everything was made perfect and without sin, how did Lucifer(satan) rebel against God and what He had decreed in the first place.

How can we defend the position that the canon of scripture is closed? Also, how did the New Testament canon come to be? I have no issue trusting the sufficiency of scripture, but it’s not as easy trying to articulate my stance on sola scriptura to others 😅

What’s the difference between Paul’s changing story of his vision and Joseph Smith’s? Why is Paul’s less suspect?

What does the Bible teach about how the local church is to elect elders? I know that women are not to be elders, and I know that the ideal is plurality, but some local churches claim they have only one elder because God has not called anyone else. Is this a valid reason for a church to have one elder?
