It would be such a treat to see STH make an appearance in the film.

Bob Hoskins or Richard Griffiths (Uncle Vernon from Harry Potter) would have been great as STH as well.

I'd also have accepted John Duttine, David Ogden Stiers, or John Goodman.

Real life topham? If I had to pick a real life actor I would pick Alfred Molina

I ain’t no fan of that actor before his obituary early this year. But looks like if this photo came out of Photoshop, with all due respect.

Who says 'no actor of the right size' could play STH in Thomas & the Magic Railroad, eh? Well, here's the stout gentleman himself as a physical appearance if Simon Fisher-Becker was casted for him for the film - if you're all wondering what this is - as evident in the pre-May 1999 scripts/storyboard animatic reel, he returns home from holiday after Junior leaves where he thanks Mr. Conductor and apologizes for the trouble Diesel 10 has put him through, having a feeling as such. He also tells him to tell Junior that "Hattie" was what he was called when he was a "young pup like him." I might think about revising a bit of my re-railed script next year, but still.
