Draw like a Sir

( I know it kinda looks like a magic trick, ignore that fact )
People sometimes have a hard time visualizing how to seperate body parts for foreshortening.

I would say memorizing the forms is more important than memorizing the shapes because if you can’t visualize a shape in 3 dimension you can’t imagine how the shapes will change.
