Dan Davis History

Hi, did you see my new video on ancient pottery? https://youtu.be/2taUjbCb3N8

I hope you enjoyed the video. I have two more videos coming this month and one in the first half of next month so keep an eye out for those. These next three videos will look at some amazing sites of the Bronze Age, the Neolithic, and the Mesolithic respectively.

It's just me reading the books and papers, then writing, and editing all my videos by myself. So it takes me a while to produce them but I hope people appreciate that every part comes from me rather than from taking shortcuts.

Thank you so much for watching my videos and enabling me to do what I do.

Cheers,
Dan

Sure do appreciate your work, Dan. Your early pottery video was excellent. Certainly eye-opening. Made me want to try to use some live clay I collected.

Thanks for a video on a seemingly "mundane" everyday item. It was interesting to learn that pointed and round bottomed pots held up to heat generated in cooking, while flat bottoms appear to have been purely for storage due to heat caused cracking.

I would enjoy more videos like your Richard Plantagenet one. Where there are numerous rich primary sources and complex plot twists for you to Do Your Thing with. I enjoy all your videos the personal narratives are on another level.

Quite informative and enjoyable video. I especially enjoy how you consistently avoid sensationalizing subjects and try to stick to the facts. With that said, I do like to hear your own opinions on theories too. I'm very glad to have found your channel and have learned a lot through it.

Iʼm working on a videogame that partly takes place in a prehistoric setting, and your videos are one of my go-to references and sources of inspiration. Thanks for your work ⚱️
