Siming Lan

Nanjing Massacre is a video I felt very inspired to make while I visited Nanjing. Although it's going to be a slightly different type of content than usual, it feels very close to my heart. So as hard (and heavy) as it's going to look, I decided on it quickly once the idea came up to me.

I am also curious how many of you have heard of this event (is it something that gets talked about in your culture?). Nanjing Massacre is a history that is still very affecting in Chinese discourse today, and heavily influences the political views of Chinese people. Give it a watch:

From the U.S. here. Quite familiar with the “incident” to put it mildly. The the RoC suffered greatly in part as a result of the Nanjing massacre.
