While people are discussing the AI pin, just a quick reminder that 4+ month when I made this video it was already clear why the whole thing *fundamentally* doesn't make sense. It's not just that Humane built a bad version of this product, but actually that the core idea was a bad one from the start.

It’s like they are taking the base premise of the smartphone which is combining a bunch of utilities into one and trying to turn those once again into separate devices. All this stuff could easily just be an app aside from like the clunky Humane projector interface.

the basic idea could work really well as a disability aid, but i have no idea what made them use the pin format. some bone conduction headphones could work much better.
