A bad boss can help you improve on a personal level if you frame it right. I began taking more and more accountability for my actions after encountering a weasel of a leader who was allergic to it😂

Facts. Leadership matters more than the title or salary. A good boss can turn pressure into growth a bad one destroys souls.

I recently also began to think of myself as my own boss, developing myself, defying the limitations my boss would have me believe I have.

Wow! I so needed this right now. I lost my job, after 12 years in an actually ok company, but had a few bad bosses. I clinged onto the job for way too long. I know. Now I got laid off. Yes being unemployed now really sucks, especially in this economy, but it sucked more working for difficult bosses. So I look forward to a brighter future for my mental health.

This is a good reminder. Some of us assume that we have to condition ourselves to survive with bad bosses.

I try to encourage people everyday to be more. To recognize leaders are people too. To challenge themselves and accomplish more. It’s not that scary at all.

Doesn't matter how good the company. How impressive the title. How competitive the salary.
If your boss isn't making you better, you're getting worse.
A bad boss makes you question if you're good enough.
A good boss makes you realize how much further you can go.
One makes you desperate to leave. The other makes you dangerous to lose.
If you have a great leader right now, stay longer than you planned.
If you don't, leave faster than you think you should.
Choose the person who makes you better, not the title that "looks" better.
