When we are Object Oriented and focused on Reward Centric Tasks we become desensitized to achievement.
We learn to get our dopamine “hits” from social media and explicit content from the Internet, smart TVs, computers and smart phones.
We start to give up the need for personal accomplishment in exchange for the quick dopamine reward of the content we view at faster and faster rates until the effect of Dopamine doesn’t phase our nervous systems anymore.
