Trying to see futyre and I think its something like: Civillian: Hello, are records ready for me to pick up from your office? I love 3 hrs away so would like to know if records are ready to pick up before i start the long drive. Pub. Servant: Yeah you can come here any time. Civillian drives 3 hrs to governnent office. Civillian: Hello, i am here to pick up the records I requested. Pub. Servant: OK. Records would be ready tomorrow. Civillian: But when I called, you said can could come here any time. Pub. Servant: Yeah, you can come here any time you want. This is a public building. Your records will be ready for pick up, tomorrow.

Before you drive several hours to retrieve an original copy of a legally binding document, with the real risk of going home empty handed and having to return later... Wouldn't you want to know the document was actually ready to be picked up? I think so too...
