WELP...it happened. I didnt think they would do it but CALL OF DUTY will begin preventing the use of *tools* that grant aim assist to mouse and keyboard users. The game detection will force close your game until you close the app triggering the response. Considering #TheFinals just targeted #REWASD I would assume COD is doing the same. #REWASD is VERY popular among all FPS games right now for those who dont know. It is an application that lets you EMULATE a controller while using a mouse and keyboard. While this can be helpful as an assistive device, as with any FPS games, many just end up abusing it because they can have aim assist while using a mouse. In addition, it can affect the lobbies you get because instead of more varied lobbies with mouse and controller players, you will be prioritized with controller players (mainly). Im shocked. Never thought COD would do it.
Also - this isnt specific to #rewasd. The Cronus Zen and a few other applications do it too so it will be interesting to see how the landscape of 'cracked' players changes now.
