What do you think 🤔

@anglsrreal

The mind is all that matters. I believe rituals set the mind into a stronger place of belief.

@Relle.

I’m deeply into Chaos magic right now. I like that it’s more based on belief. You get to really see how powerful your mind is and how you really can shape your reality. Just a curated understanding between you and the energies. They like to be used. I’m getting into sigils, too with the intention of perfecting it into more Ceremonial Magic. Alchemy also has been a major player in the shift, too. It’s all internal. ✨

Nah. The only magic you should believe in is the power of friendship 😆 But seriously think about it. Imagine what this world could be if we just stopped being selfish and greedy out there? Imagine if we could stand united for the right and good things in this world? Governments everywhere are succeeding in turning everyone against each other. The morally bankrupt are plaguing the world right now

Thoughts become words. Words can create action. Action can be used to make material things. Think of it this way, everything ever built, crafted, shaped, written, or painted all started with ideas.

Thoughts and sounds, both vibration, silence is an intention. It means energy and power...

Belief is all that is required for either or else you wouldn't perform the act!

@CarolineIronwill

Do I believe it? Like, dogmatically? Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

Exercising your body is magic to me

I would say some do not have power over their minds. I would also take into account that certain mindsets attract and allow certain energies to manifest🤷

It's simple science Actions have heavy impact (emotionally) most of the festivals and rituals unites similarly thinking minds so to strengthen placebo effect all of this is done

Programming is born in the mind but uses the laws of programming software, perhaps Chaos Magic is similar to it, born in the mind and executed by the laws of the universe. maybe

@vamp1024

I believe it's both. The best analogy I can draw is this: Casting a spell is like driving. The car is the material components, the vehicle through which the spell is cast. The energies of the individual components are the parts of the engine. Belief is like oil, it keeps everything running. But the driving force, the thing that makes everything run, is Intention. That's the gasoline. Finally, the energy of the person casting the spell is the steering wheel, directing the spell itself. All these pieces working in tandem is what makes magic work. Magic is an exchange of energy between the practitioner and the energies around them, held together by belief and intention.

I agree, I just also think that ceremonial magic helps more stubborn minds get in the mind-state to believe.

The mind is powerful, rituals just tap into it.

With reading the comments, it seems some people get it with magic, thinking and what they truly are within existence, and most...just don't get it.

A ritual is just a nice tool to align your state of mind with the desired outcome and "spend" energy in that pursuit. The ritual is just a learning tool to help you in your way, it's not necessary. If you know the state of mind/spirit you need to achieve, you can spend that energy any way you like.

Placebo = MAGIC. YESSS

The power of beliefs and intention . The placebo effect and the power of self hypnosis. The water and rice experiments (Masuro Emoto) and the creation and use of holy water are relevant to this question of the power of intention and transmutation . Faith in Magik , sacred rituals ,prayers and ceremonies .

@NotA-Lizard

Any results from ritual or magickal acts align your mind and help for you to focus more upon your desire with less worry. It may boost confidence or help you feel calmer in general. The connection to ritual or belief is purely psychosomatic. Unconscious actions but dont forget, if the outcome recieved isnt the one they desired that will be brushed aside as simply not the right time or right move, the universe watching out for you, gods will w/e.

Belief alone does nothing, it can even pull you backwards... Knowing and intention and work do the job just fine. Those who believe do not know, and those who know do not believe
