Growing up I wouldn't let anyone listen to Christmas music till after my birthday (late November). But as I was the youngest of 4 that probably just made sure my older brothers were blaring carols in early November.

I listen to Christmas music all year round until 3months before Christmas. Then I'm not allowed to listen to it again until the day after Thanksgiving

When I want to. I don't let others dictate when I can listen to music, regardless of the theme. Call me crazy...idc. If I wanna leave my decorations up all year, or for two days. If my joy makes other people miserable, and I'm not doing anything morally wrong, I give zero 💩's
