Hi Marcel ! Occasionally I listen to Mix cloud. But I can't leave comments so I don't like that part. Is that a new rule no more than 10 mixes ? So if you have 15 , you have to remove 5 ? I hate things like that. Some mixes on Mix cloud are members only , or subscription of some sort. IDK. That bums me out too. That's exciting you have another venue for your mixes now . Your listeners / fans got your back , huh ? I listened to your 1986 vol.1-3 last week at work again ...nice reliving your older mixes too ! Good time capsules of our journey together. 😂 Do you ever listen to other 80s DJs on YouTube ? There are SO many it's crazy. There are a TON of Latino / Spanish speaking 80s mix sites too. You got some healthy competition out there Marcel... keeping you on your toes.😂

Greetings, my beautiful turtle doves! Hope you're all enjoying the summer (or winter, if you live south of the equator). Just want to share a couple of small updates:
1.) As YouTube continues to make changes to their copyright policies, it's triggering the occasional surprise. Case in point: my first volume of 90s CLUBBIN' has had its block mysteriously dropped, at least for now. I know most of you are only interested in my 80s mixes, but for those hungering to relive their early 90s club days, this one's got lots of tasty musical morsels to sample:

House-Mixes.com is basically a stripped-down version of MixCloud, except you can upload an unlimited number of mixes without the fear of copyright blocks on a single free account! I'm just starting to upload my mixes over there now, but moving forward I'll be sharing everything there alongside YouTube. While I'm keeping my MixCloud accounts active, I'll no longer be sharing new mixes on that site since their free accounts now only allow a maximum of 10 uploads each...yeah, homey don't play that. Lol.
Otherwise, I'm just taking a short break from editing new mixes, although I'm already drawing up potentional setlists for future ones, so I'll be posting fresh DJ sets before too long. Classes at the Old Skool will be back in session before you know it.
