Already chose the OM-3, despite have one foot in both MFT and L-Mount camps. MFT just fits the bill as an overall compact system, and my eyes are bad enough that a viewfinder sometimes makes-or-breaks a photo - particularly outdoors. That said, kudos to Sigma for going their own way - I will absolutely pick up a BF once they end up cheap as chips on the used market in a few years.

I use flash, so the OM3! I also think that the faster readout means the OM3 electronic shutter would be more versatile than the BF

Can't afford either, but I am already invested into micro four thirds, so there isn't much of choice actually.

'Quirky yet beautiful', 'beautiful foolishness'. I've got another one: 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. 😅

The Sigma BF makes me wish that Leica would have continued their APSC line of cameras. 😛 At least the TL series had a hand grip. The OM-3 made me happy I already have the Zf

I already have the OM-3. The Sigma has no IBIS nor computational modes like the OM-3.

Neither. They're both fashion accessories that have buried core functionality beneath a mass of computational trickery and punted ergonomics into the abyss - cameras for dentists, real estate agents and sundry dilletantes.

A Leica Q is a minimalist beauty while the Sigma looks like a box of cigarette with a lens attached 😁

Sigma BF is a quirky yet beautiful camera, OM System OM-3 has the retro charm and modern features, and of course beautiful. Both received the TIPA awards in 2025, which one would you choose?
