I recently started following and love the breakdowns. As of today I have 1357 days sober. Some days are easier than others. That demon is relentless in his pursuit. Iām a former Police Officer and Soldier that lost everything to my addiction. My biggest struggle is still myself (anxiety, depression, ect). Thank you for the breakdowns and everything. We are here fighting everyday and know there are others in our corner.

I no longer believe depression is a losing battle. I've learned that we all have it within ourselves to stay above the water when the waves hit us, we just have to learn the extremely difficult maneuvers to keep ourselves from drowning when that happens. This will be one of the most difficult things you'll ever do. And unfortunately it's not a one-and-done thing. It is a Forever Thing, but you in no way have to swim in that water alone. And when you finally see the others that are there in the Darkness with you, it becomes so much easier. You are so not alone. I found HeartSupport accidentally when I was watching a Ren reaction video. I found your forum several weeks ago and have been reading some of the discussions. What you guys are doing is amazing and I think it's where I'm supposed to be. I'm just a little intimidated by it at the moment, but I am working on getting past that so I can do this. Once I get myself out of my own way, you will definitely have a new volunteer.

I'm a new listener and can't get enough of the songs and reactions that you provide. Thank you for your professionalism. Not sure if you have checked out Stephen Wilson Jr. before. Father's Son and I'm a Song are a few I really think you would love and could help those listening as well.

Looked at the support page to become a member. The times are difficult for me to attend, but I know the importance of the support. I suffer from depression and anxiety. I have been on the level of stepping out of life so many times. Until I found a purpose: to help others and understand their pain and sorrows. If there is another way to help out ... please let me know. You can PM me. Much love to all, and remember there are more people that walk and walk that road. keep your headbang head high and reach out to others. PS: I am in the Netherlands.

These videos have been great. I have a good friend who is struggling and has been for a few years since his wife passed away. I listen to him and I try to give advice but I'm hardly equipped to really help him and he won't get real help. I'm hardly doing a bang up job with my own mental health. When I hear the song "Shotgun" by Evan Bartels it makes me think of him and how scared that one day I'm going to get that call about him. ,

I have struggled with mental health since before I knew what it was, I would love to hear a therapists opinion on some of my poetry, my most recent one is titled: Loosen the noose in the rope, Twisted, tortured, bullied and broke, My will being tested, strength revoked. Standing at the edge of a cliff, noose tight, No will to loosen, lost in the night. A blind leap off of that cliff, It is for death I prayed, in my skin I'm captive Let me make this trade, else I'm trapped here Eyes wide shut no longer afraid, the relief is surreal Crack, crash, bang, the branch gives way, My life now spared, another day. Not by choice, but accident's hand, I found myself back on the land. Not cured, but stronger, now I'm able, To loosen the noose in the rope, I brace myself in the eye of the storm, quiet my mind, Protected from demon I find buried deep inside. Still there, lurking, behind my eyes, A blink, and the darkness quickly flies. Filling my mind seeking control, a quiet voice, Anger and pain, a bitter choice. An overreaction, a fleeting break, The scared child within, does awake. Repairing the damage, it's time to be, Vulnerable. One day I may even be free.

Legit question, how is this at all supporting? Maybe if you are in a crisis but depression has many layers and deep depression seems to be missed often even by those who claim to know what it is
