I started playing it bcuz Genshin was a new project Mihoyo was working on. I played Honkai Impact 3rd on release date and I love it. So ofc I’d wanna play another game made by Hoyoverse, especially since it received more attention than Honkai ever did and pretty much everything else at the time. Also cuz I was sure it would be the game that put Hoyo on the map.

I honestly don't remember any more. I saw it was releasing that week, and got hyped because it looked fun. And right I was. Almost 3 years later now from that launch date, still playing, still grinding, still a Noelle main.

Kaeya Alberich. That's what got me into the game, and then the exploration and his lore got me more hooked, but now I'm taking a peaceful break

It was a free anime esthetic open world rpg and I liked the vibe. I only knew it was gacha once I logged in and saw the banners. I stayed because the main story has some pretty interesting aspects, because of the characters and because of how dark the game gets when it's serious. I'm a sucker for dark fantasy worlds

Technically both characters and gameplay, I absolutely love fantasy RPG type games and this one looked beautiful. Also I'm really kinda lonely, so I started so I could play with an online friend, who stopped playing when I started so RIP that. The REASON I actually started playing the game for real was because of Raiden Shogun and her banner.

Music. I found its music 1st and i got very curious where such beautiful compositions come from. Was *slightly shocked it was from a game (*only slightly because i thought that such music is usually in games but could also be in movies.) I was more surprised at the game itself — the graphics, the designs of characters and the world, the gameplay, the platform — so surprised it is from a game that is right up my alley. Tho when i started playing, i also assumed that i may lose interest in the game fast (like leaves it after about 3months) because that's how it's been with me and the games i had been playing — i was already burned out of playing games at that time and had actually stopped playing any game for half a month already. So i thought i was just gonna end up "trying out" Genshin. Welp... 2+ yrs later, here we are. Im already AR60 but i still play the game. 🙂

Was bored and burned out of my usual, binged watched hella isekai anime at the time and needed something free, isekai-like and a Breath of fresh air. Happened to meet the marks and i kept hearing about for 2 weeks before I caved in.

I originally had no interest in playing Genshin. It was only after YouTube recommended the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview Trailer that I got curious enough to try it out and I've been hooked ever since. I like stories with a laid-out plot, which makes me confident they won't abandon the game halfway through.

I was into the story at first until one day i looked on side quests and saw a pink hair lady looked it up on the characters section and i found out she was named Yae Miko.At first i thought u unlock characters from side quest after u complete them.I then saved primos until her rerun now i have her and im back to the story again.Yae Miko is the character that motivated me to grind primos

I started in 2020, I saw ads and kaeya and now I’m AR 60. I still love Kaeya.

I started because of Mona’s double cheeked up back side. Being the true man of culture that I am, I stayed for more double cheeked and chest heavy waifus. Also the combat mechanics are cool.

I started because I YouTuber that mostly focus on Digimon was talking about the game and how it works, and that he enjoys Bennett. Although I distanced from the community of Digimon, specially the English Community.
