as someone whos never visited the US disneyland parks but wants to one day, the one thing that made me want to stay at the contemporary despite its high price tag was the monorail that runs through the hotel, but this isnt the first time ive heard the contemporary rooms are not worth the money

Back in the day you could stay at the Carribean Beach Resort for $79-$109. There was no ugly CGI pixart on the walls, and mentally ill wokeness wasn't MK-Ultra'd down your throat -- it was clean and modern, peaceful and great.

Since I was a kid, staying in the Contemporary Resort was on the top of my bucket list. That being said, the new renovations have fallen flat and compared to some of the other themed resorts it definitely feels like a standard hotel that just happens to have a great view. (Especially if you compare it to the Tokyo resorts or even the Polynesian next door) so disappointing.....
