I once had a friend who kept a 16 foot reticulated yellow mouthed python. They also owned a heated water bed. One day, I accidentally fell asleep on the water bed, while the snake was supposed to be secured inside of a locked cage, in an adjoining room. I awoke to the snake on top of me, with it's head raised up, staring me dead in my face- its nose about 2 inches from my nose, with it's touge sticking out. I've never been the same since.
