Shabbat Shalom! This wonderful music, incredible voices of glorious Hasidic singers Motty Steinmetz, Zanvil Weinberger and Motti Wiesel, young choristers, valorous conductors Benny Laufer and Pinchas Bichler ─ this Divine performance is forever with us, like Torah itself, like Yiddishkeit, it’s always in our hearts. And, of course, we cherish the hope for the continuation of this great mystery-play. We admire Motty Steinmetz, his great work making for humanism, for everybody’s soul, for Hasidic wisdom and our Jewish roots. Motty’s noble activity is akin to Hasidic Tzadiks, like Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, who was healing people, bringing light and life to any poor Jew in shteteles and towns despite the persecutions and harmful enemies. Once he did not start the Shabbat prayer until he helped a poor beggar rambling along the town with a little baby ─ he gathered wood, made a warm fireplace and meal for the poor. “Es achai anochi mevakesh” – I do seek my brothers (Bereshit 39:16) – Alter Rebbe said. (From Chabad). Motty’s devoted self-sacrificing perpetual communication with those, who need help is akin also to Rabbi Hillel, the Talmudic sage. Shalom from Bonnie Scotland Motty, I absolutely love you music 🎶 your voice is awesome I basically listen to you most off the day while I do my calligraphy writing just so relaxing I've listened to you for many a year now , I may not understand the words but get the jist of the song (just like opera I know word but get the jist , one is for sure if you came to the UK 🇬🇧 know matter where I'd get myself to your concerts without fail stunning voice and singing talent
