Hey everyone! I wanted to give you all a quick update on my future plans for streams and videos.

As you may have seen already, a few things have changed - I'm streaming a lot less, there's more frequent uploads on my 2nd channel, and the main channel consists of narrated, essay-style videos these days. I've been wanting to restructure how I run my channels for a while now, so here's what I came up with:

*THE MAIN CHANNEL*
This channel will focus on narrated, topic-focused content from now on. Extensive game reviews, narrated gameplays and challenges, covering racing game related topics - that sort of thing. This is something I already used to do in back in 2022, and I want to focus more on these kinds of videos to improve my craft. This unfortunately means that there will be no more stream highlight videos on the main channel. It's just not something I'm passionate about making anymore - I think with the last few GT4 challenges I have perfected what I wanted to get out of these kinds of videos. There's nothing left to achieve or improve on for me anymore. Furthermore I want my videos to be just as enjoyable when you're just listening and not actively watching, and I think essay-style videos work better in that way. My goal is to upload at least one video per month, but some topics may need more work and attention.

*THE SECOND CHANNEL*
This is my place to talk about topics I wouldn't make full-length videos on. Most of the time this will be anything that's currently relevant in the racing game space, but also more niche topics or even casual reviews on non-racing games I've played. It's a lot more opinionated and spontaneous than my main channel, and the goal is to have semi-frequent uploads - about 3 videos per week is what I want to aim for. I'm not gonna lie, this going to be a slop channel where each video won't take me more than a day to make. Since I don't have a Patreon or sponsors to rely on, I need the extra income to support myself. Between everything, this seemed like the "lesser evil" since you can simply ignore the channel if you're not interested.

*THE STREAMS*
Since running three active channels will take a lot of time, I am going to cut down the streams to be weekend-exclusive. So I will only be live on either Saturday or Sunday, however to make up for it each stream will be packed with more games and ideas. Basically I want to cram 2-3 streams worth of content into a single stream, switching between games and whatever else I have planned. I may also stream for longer, around 6 hours instead of the usual 3-4 hours. Each portion of the stream will ideally be up on the VOD channel over the next week if you missed something.

That about covers it all. I know some of you may be disappointed with the absence of stream highlights, but I hope you can find something else to enjoy. And who knows, maybe I'll return to them some day. But overall I'm always looking to evolve my content and improve as a creator, that's always going to be my priority. Let me know what you think though! Is there anything I missed, do you have any questions? Post them in the comments below and I'll try to reply as soon as I can. Thanks for all your continued support :yellow_heart:

Essay videos are what make me hooked up for your content. P.S. I'm still playing ProStreet Pepega Edition BTW, and still waiting for the next update;)

@BryanSteacy

I'm glad you're making changes that suit you. No point in just burning out on content you have little-to-no interest in making.

Your essay style videos are what I look forward to the most. I'm perfectly fine with you discussing non-racing games on the second channel but I think you absolutely need to cover some indie racing games because those games need as many eyes on them as possible so that they have the best chance of succeeding. Also I have some ideas for your main channel that I think you could make videos about: 1) How did the racing game genre go from a massive boom in the 2000s to just barely existing in the 2020s? (Ok this might be hard to make without the help of people who worked in the industry during the 2000s and 2010s so the video might end up just being you speculating the entire time) 2) What happened to the Gran Turismo competitors (R Racing Evolution, Enthusia, Sega GT Online etc) and why doesn't anyone compete with Gran Turismo anymore? 3) A multi part video about how the Japanese automotive industry went from making copy pasted cars in the early years to building their own cars in the 60s to becoming popular with the general public in the 70s thanks to the two oil crises to the technological innovation of the 80s with tech like turbochargers, variable valve timing, all wheel drive systems etc to the golden era of the 90s then finally ending with the slow decline during the 2000s and 2010s. This obviously isn't a racing game video but I think you can make some interesting videos about cars or about the automotive industry if you try. 4) A video about German car culture from your perspective

@kmsthanks

Sad to see the stream highlights gone since they were my favorite highlights out of any channel, but I still enjoy the other stuff and curious to see where the channel will go
