Hey all! Just to address this since people have been asking: Last night I posted a review of the new Phineas and Ferb season. YouTube had explicitly said there were no copyright issues found and gave me the all-clear checkmark. Then about 45 minutes after being publicly posted, it was hit with 30+ automated copyright claims and blocked globally. (often little 4-second clips w/o audio resulting in a worldwide block and full demonetization) Unfortunately, I’ve left on a trip so I won’t be able to do anything about it for a while. I'd been grinding really long days and even pushed the flight back just to get it done before I left. It's so annoying that it circles back around to being mildly comical. Hopefully I'll be able to get another version up in late July.

There's definitely been a change in Disney automated Content ID system in 2025 that other creators have noticed as well. I’ve had a lot of my videos get retroactively demonetized - including Pair of Kings, though hopefully I can appeal. (More specifically, “revenue sharing” in which I get 0% and the claimant gets 100%. They call it “sharing” in the hopes you won’t take action.) So this has been stressful, but it's still probably easier than working at Wal-Mart or something.
