There’s about 8 hours to go until my next pottery-lottery restock, (17 August, 7:00 pm BST). I’m not the biggest fan of that term, but in my mind it at least gets the point across that obtaining something isn’t necessarily a certainty, although this time around, with the extremely sad exclusion of the United States and European Union members, I can foresee the experience being a lot less hectic.
The shop itself won’t require a password when it goes live—it’ll be accessible as per usual. You can find a temporary page on my website that contains a preview and price list:
I’ve been writing about my reasons of excluding these destinations exhaustively in my recent Instagram stories and posts, but essentially it’s down to tariffs and the current limbo period we’re in as couriers here haven’t updated their websites to allow us to prepay tariffs yet and for the EU, (minus Switzerland and Norway), it’s due to GPSR and all the red-tape that’s come with it, which I’m yet to tackle. That’s it all in short at least.
With that said, I will be shipping to: UK, Australia, Canada, Norway, Switzerland, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea and lots of destinations in the Middle East.
As always, my advice to purchase something is to move quickly, save card details in your browser if it’ll allow you and don’t worry about checking out multiple times. I reimburse the extra shipping costs and box everything up together.
After this restock, I’m going to get my GPSR compliance sorted for the EU, and hopefully in a few months’ time tariffs, taxes, and the couriers and their systems will have settled and become usable again for shipping to the USA. I remember feeling so downtrodden after Brexit, as really, the world can only become a better place through compassion and unity between countries. Yet, these waves of division are becoming more regular and I just hope it doesn’t last forever. I’ve always felt so connected with the world at large due to having a global audience and I’m so grateful for every last one of you that’s decided to follow along.
Thanks for shopping, and I’ll see the rest of you in my winter restock in November.
