We all know McGregor wasn’t prime fighting Khabib. Training boxing for over a year for Mayweather and a rich unhealthy lifestyle of snorkskies and booze didn’t help. The Conor who fought Alvarez against Khabib would have been legendary.

Khabib vs Connor was the fight that put UFC on the map. Everyone, regardless of whether they watched UFC or not was talking about it. It's one of the biggest fights of all time. Thats why a lot of 'casuals' say Khabib vs Conor, cause another fight like that would be mindblowing.

Jones vs DC in their prime would’ve been way more epic. Both dudes at peak strength, skill, and mental game, no excuses about age or fading. Khabib vs Conor was fire, but they were already both in their primes, and Conor had the best prep. The Jones vs DC fight felt a bit off since DC was older and past his prime when they first fought. Imagine if both were 28-30 and hungry, that would be a legendary showdown for real.
