James Smith

There are a lot of gurus online giving out business advice about running a fitness business.

But I'm not sure how many of them actually ran a successful fitness business.

Where they live and what they drive was from coaching coaches, not people.

Now, there are loads of coaches who ran 'more successful' businesses than me.

Kayla & Tobi, Adam Sullivan, Courtney Black and even Joe Wicks.

But truth be told, since 2017 there's only been 2x of us operating the entire business.

We contract amazing coaches and developers...and that's it.

Nearly 120,000 customers.

Never needed a sales call.
Never needed a high ticket.
Never needed a marketing department.
Never needed to sell in DMs.
We never even nailed paid ads, we spend more in stripe fees each year than paid ads. πŸ˜…

Maybe I'm just bias because this is my way of doing things.

By all means, do what works best for you at the end of the day.

Haha can't believe I'm saying this, but I only started using a calendar in 2024 when I launched the mentorship.

I literally had nothing in my diary for 7 years. hahaha.

Maybe that's aspirational for you, maybe it's put you off.

But personally, I don't like giving anyone a modicum of my energy unless they're benefitting my life.

Usually by being a client. (No offence prospects)

Make of that what you will.

But if you're going to join a guru's program, maybe check their receipts.

Most people make money from teaching how to make money.

Not from actually running a solid business.

@TRAINWITHTRIDDY

yeah kinda agree with you here mate. You're one of the few who have actually spent a long time in the fitness game BEFORE changing and being a 'biz coach'.
