Aer Lingus generally announce that there will be no filming of crew or safety demonstrations etc but thats about it. I have filmed the seat, the view from the window, food onboard, the loos etc being respectful and not to film individuals where possible.

I’ve done Chicago to Shannon roundtrip (Aer Lingus) and Shannon to Newark (United). Shannon is a great airport for touring Ireland’s West Country.

That’s a pity as I would like to have seen what Aer Lingus was like. I hope you get some nice footage from both airports. The Delta flight to Boston sounds really exciting though, I hope that you have a great trip.

While it is sad that you are unable to film what would be a great vlog I hope you have a pleasant and relaxing flight. Welcome back to the states once you get here.

No filming ? Didn’t realize Aer Lingus and Air Koryo are alliance partners

Aer Lingus crews seem to love to make up rules. I’ve had them tell me of several non-existent rules before for whatever reasons.

Aer Lingus make a point every time not to film. Also their transatlantic business service can be very hit and miss.

I can understand if they don’t wanta be filmed but people like that need to chill out if you’re gonna film the food, seat, bathroom, the cabin, etc. I’m sorry that you have to go through that. Recording personal blogs is permitted on most airlines. I’d probably do it in discrete like using a phone or something. Keep up the amazing content that you provide for everyone to see!

I guess they don't want the act of "aer-lingus" to be captured on video !!!

I had the same response when I wanted to get a photo of the flight crew on the flight deck as I was embarking on my honeymoon 2 weeks ago. This was post flight and after all passengers had disembarked. They told me it was "not encouraged" by aer lingus and I left it at that. Would be interesting to hear some background or any further information. Keep up the good work. I'm sure I'll do your job some day. 🤣

Sounds like Aer Lingus will have at least one less customer in the future, not to mention a lot of free PR they've turned their back on.

Wingin’ It! Paul Lucas
Hello from my Aer Lingus flight to Shannon from London Heathrow! I am heading to Boston today for a quick tour of the USA. Unfortunately, the crew in today’s flight have said there’s to be no filming which is disappointing as I won’t be able to showcase this unique route for you. Oh well!
In the USA I’ll be taking in Delta One Suites on the A350 which I’m very much looking forward to, as well as a few other surprises 😉 can’t wait!
