Stationed in Heidelberg Germany in the 80's. Part of our patrol areas included downtown. One of my squad found a bank bag containing a large amount of local currency. There was nothing to identify where it came from, not even a bank logo. The only thing we could do was go back where it was found and watch the people.... And "just be damned! "We found the owner" and made international news. We had counted the money.... coming out to what amounted to $10,000.00 USD! OBTW! it was an older woman going to pay for her mother's funeral.

@SkewedMinds

I would sell it and try to begin a good relationship with the buyer. Relationships in the hobby have made me Alot more than one off deals.
