I was born in the '60s and my first music was punk and new wave, then i discovered the Beatles and it changed everything, then Dylan, The Stones, The Who, The Kinks(Ray Davies and Damon Albarn singing Waterloo Sunset is worth looking up), The Animals, Motown, Them, The Byrds, Simon and Garfunkel, Donovan, Love, Velvet Underground, Buffalo Springfield, Hendrix, Traffic, Curtis Mayfield, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Neil Young, The Doors, so many to mention, the greatest decade ever), The Smiths, New Order, Echo and the Bunnymen, REM, Talking Heads, The Stone Roses, and on it goes, but i really appreciate Blur, i have their albums from Modern Life, through to Think Tank, i love Blur '97 album, but Universal is a great piece of work, that intro is beautiful and the video where they play droogs from A Clockwork Orange is a nice touch. I like some of Gorrilaz, they never stood still, which has to be applauded
