Are the mushrooms on this Pokemon’s back vegan-friendly?

@sillycreatures_

Yes, because im pretty sure they are separate from the pokemon they just grow on its back and when it evolve the parisite shrooms take over the pokemon, like the zombie ant fungus

@jhonproctor6926

According to the Pokedex Paris mushrooms are highly prized for medicinal purposes

Like the joker said:"THERE'S NO LAWS AGAINST THE POKEMON,BATMAN!!"

@dinoactual

The mushroom is not part of the paras. It is a PARASite. So I’d argue that taking off the mushrooms is actually helping it.

@Lovely_flowers_

Yes it is because it’s a mushroom that’s is growing on the back of it and it’s hurting them because in there next evolution Parasect the mushroom takes over the Pokémon sorta like the clickers from the last of us. P.s the mushrooms are also slowly killing Paras.

i think it'd mainly depend on if they can grow in the wild or not; if they're exclusive to Paras, then no. if they're just some small fungus that grows on 'em, then yeah sure it's fine

The whole Pokémon is technically vegan-friendly. The mushrooms as parasite, the body looks like na animal's one but it's completely replaced by the parasite's flesh.

You know recently I was asking myself. If a pokemon use a move that would generate water from its own body (like the classic water gun for example), does that mean that water would be non-vegan?

@aguyinyourwalls6946

Actually you would be helping it, if the mushroom gets too big it will turn it into a mindless host, its for the best we get rid of the mushrooms

@alisonshope

depends on whether it hurts it to take the mushrooms out I think.

@Wince_Media

It first I'd say no but then I remembered these mushrooms are literally hurting the bug so yeah take them off!

The paras have the mycelium of the tochukaso. No matter how much the paras eats the mushrooms steal most of the nutrients. They are doused with spores when they hatch to grow these mushrooms. So far, no alternate evolution without these mushrooms in the main cannon of the games.

@gatorfruit

From what we know, this is a parasitic fungus so I’d like to think Paras would appreciate the removal

Yes

@eeewee17

Yes because the mushrooms are not a part of the Pokémon. It's evolution, Parasect, is just what happens once the fungus fully envelopes it.
