Crazy how a mode originally filled with Chaos, Anarchy and Rivalry has been reduced to nothing more than sitting in a corner with a melee and holding the attack button.

Im sad to see they have lost some of the magic and are looking in all the wrong places to fix it. I was introduced to Zombies by An ex gf’s neighbor the day “Call of the Dead” dlc released and i was hopeless hooked and have been since. Ive played with MrDarlekJd and many more on and off since Bo1 until they got big and had to focus on their channel. But we all felt that magic then and have seen it weaken. First it was the BO4 perks, then cold war made it feel cheap and pointless with loadouts and gun tiers. No more chasing a good gun bc you could make a crap pistol or shotgun just as good as any other weapon. The vangaurd was like a fever dream of WW2 zombies meets cold war zombies. Bo6 was a little better perk wise but they need people that were there obsessed with BO1 to help with fixing it and future maps instead of making it more like warzone zombies. There are soo many unique and thrilling map ideas they apparently have never thought of that could have made the game feel worth while again. If they were smart they would invite people like me and other longtime players for brainstorming sessions either in person or zoom. Have us make a small presentation of a couple things we would fix, change, add, remove, 1-2 plot ideas and 1-2 unique map locations and mechanics. Listens give feedback and do it again in a week or 2 after hearing others and what treyarch likes and doesn’t. After a few of these separate group think tanks with devoted core fans and an open dialogue I think they could recreate that anticipation, mystique and excitement liken to BO1-2-3. But sadly I don’t think they would value our opinions bc we are not paid consultants or designers. That would be a mistake on their part because all too many times Game developers forget that they’re not making a product for the people that are already working on it. They’re making a product for the people that they’re not listening to.
